I usually avoid naturals because they can taste overly fermented, but this one is clean and bright with a really distinct blueberry jam sweetness. Knowing it came from a guy who went from driving trucks to running his own operation in Bursa makes the cup even better. Already ordered a second bag.

The tasting notes on the bag are spot on—this natural process coffee has a berry-like sweetness that carries through from the first sip to the last. Mullugeta's story about coming from a region where coffee was once unknown adds a nice touch to the whole experience.

I wasn't expecting much from a bag of beans with a farmer's story on it, but this roast surprised me with how clean and sweet it tastes. Even brewed as a simple pour-over, the cup has this lovely, lingering sweetness that makes me want another sip.
