I brewed this as a pour-over and the grape note comes through first, then it settles into something almost like honey on the finish. Washed coffees from Chalatenango have a clean sweetness I keep coming back to, and this one's no exception.

The rose aroma hit me right as the bag opened, which was unexpected for a coffee. Brewed as a pour-over, the sweetness carried through to the last sip, and that grape note lingered beautifully on the finish.

The grape note really comes through in the first sip, and it lingers into a sweet, almost rosy finish that I wasn't expecting from a washed coffee. It's become my new afternoon treat.
