ECHELON 2026 - Main image
$1242.5 $1750 In stock

“Project Echelon” by Onyx Coffee Lab invites you to enter a world where you can fully experience the best and most award winning coffees. Unique, rare cultivars, world famous agronomy experiments and competition winning coffees. As a member you will be provided with every piece of equipment and aspect of brewing even down to the water chemistry. We’ve taken the guess work out of the brewing by offering individual extraction guides for each coffee by the US brewer’s champion using the exact equipment you’ll be supplied with.

Membership is limited to the United States and Canada at this time. This is a very exclusive and limited project due to the fact that sourcing these rare coffees is an arduous and extremely delicate process. Once discovered, the volume of these high scoring nano-lots are extremely small and must go through rigorous testing and profiling before making it into the program.

*price reduced each month to make up for missed coffees. Program is from January - December 2026

For the 2026 program, we will also be offering a coffee only membership.

Full Membership Includes:
(12) 10oz boxes of Onyx Echelon Coffee (1 years worth, shipped on a monthly basis in 2026)
(12) ONYX Brew Guides (tailored to the Echelon kit and each coffee)

Avery ★★★★★

The berry note in this washed Ethiopian is so clean it almost drinks like tea, and I've been brewing it as a pour-over every morning since it arrived. Two weeks in and the bag's already half gone, which says enough.

First sip tastes like they actually nailed the rare cultivar thing—there's this layered sweetness that shifts as it cools, which I didn't expect from a bag this size. I've been brewing it as my daily pour-over for a week and it hasn't dulled, which is rare for me to admit about any coffee.

Sebastian ★★★★★

I cracked open the bag on a slow Sunday morning and the dry aroma alone hinted at how much work went into sourcing these rare cultivars. It brewed up incredibly sweet and complex, easily the most interesting cup I've had from a subscription in months.
