Onyx Merch Patch, 72701 Cap and Pet Nat Hat: Your Questions Answered

The patch, the cap and the hat: direct answers

What exactly is the Wavy Onyx Patch?

It is a patch from the Onyx merchandise collection, described as a fun companion for jackets, backpacks and tote bags. The catalog shows a Standard variant, but it does not state the patch's dimensions, material, backing type or application method. Treat those as details to confirm before you buy if they matter to you.

Can I iron the Wavy Onyx Patch onto a jacket?

The supplied information does not confirm an iron-on backing or give ironing temperatures, times or barrier-cloth instructions. Do not assume it is iron-on just because it is called a patch. Check the physical product or ask the store before applying heat to a jacket you care about.

How should I attach the patch if it is not iron-on?

Without confirmed backing details, the safe approach is to use a method that does not rely on heat or permanent adhesive until you have checked the patch. Hand-sewing around the edge is removable and works on jackets, backpacks and totes; temporary fabric tape can hold it in place for a test wear. The catalog does not supply a recommended method, so these are general options rather than manufacturer instructions.

Does the 72701 Cap fit larger or smaller heads?

The supplied record lists only a Standard variant and gives no head circumference, adjustable closure or fit range. That means the 72701 Cap fit cannot be confirmed from the catalog alone. If fit is critical, ask the store for measurements before ordering rather than guessing from the product name.

What is the Pet Nat Hat sizing?

The Pet Nat Hat record also lists only a Standard variant, with no size chart or adjustable-back confirmation. Pet Nat Hat sizing is therefore not confirmed by the supplied information. The record does describe it as designed for everyday wear with a simple, clean look, which suggests a casual hat rather than a performance fit, but that is not a size guarantee.

Are these coffee merch accessories good gifts?

The Pet Nat Hat is described as great for coffee enthusiasts and Onyx fans alike, and the patch is positioned as a fun addition to favorite items. Those are reasonable gift directions. The cap and hat records do not confirm sizing, so a gift recipient may need to exchange or adjust; the patch is the lower-risk choice if you are unsure about fit.

What the catalog actually confirms

The Wavy Onyx Patch is described as a companion for every jacket, backpack and tote bag, and as a way to add a surge of fun to favorite items alongside others in the collection. That is the full extent of the supplied product description; it does not include size, material or attachment details.

The Pet Nat Hat is presented as a straightforward way to show Onyx Coffee Lab pride at the café or out and about. It is part of the merchandise collection and is described as designed for everyday wear with a simple, clean look. No size range or adjustment details are supplied.

The 72701 Cap record contains descriptive text about a skull cowboy, a Cowboy Cup and a charcoal-toned Kinto Mug rather than cap-specific specifications. The catalog does not state cap dimensions, closure type or fit. Use the record as a signal to verify fit directly with the store rather than as a sizing source.

Catalog facts behind these answers

• Wavy Onyx Patch: Every jacket, backpack, and tote bag deserves a patch as a companion. The Wavy Onyx patch might just be the perfect one. Confirms the patch is intended for bags and jackets, which is the basis for the attachment questions above.

• Pet Nat Hat: Designed for everyday wear with a simple, clean look. Supports the Pet Nat Hat as a casual everyday hat, while leaving sizing unconfirmed.

• 72701 Cap: Our skull cowboy invites you to sit for a while and enjoy a single origin out of this Cowboy Cup. Shows the 72701 Cap record contains themed descriptive copy rather than fit specifications, so sizing must be checked separately.

Patch vs cap vs hat: a quick decision table

• Wavy Onyx Patch: Best if you want a low-commitment accessory for a jacket, backpack or tote. The catalog confirms its intended use but not its backing, size or application method, so check those before buying if you plan to iron it on.
• 72701 Cap: Best if you like the 72701 design and want a cap to represent the brand. Fit is the open question: the record lists a Standard variant only and gives no measurements, so confirm sizing with the store.
• Pet Nat Hat: Best if you want an everyday hat with a simple, clean look for casual outings. Sizing is also unconfirmed in the supplied record, so treat it as a try-before-you-commit item if fit matters.

How to choose without overcommitting

Start with the item you will actually use. If you already carry a backpack or wear a jacket daily, the patch adds brand character to something you own. If you want headwear, choose between the 72701 Cap and the Pet Nat Hat based on which design you prefer, because the supplied records do not give enough fit detail to separate them on sizing.

For the patch, decide on your attachment method before purchase. Since the catalog does not confirm an iron-on backing, plan for sewing or temporary fixing unless the store confirms otherwise. That keeps your options open and protects the item you are decorating.

For either hat, ask for measurements if you are between sizes or buying as a gift. The Standard variant listing is not a size guarantee, and the records do not include a size chart. A quick question to the store is more reliable than assuming a fit from the product name.
