Smiley 1972 Blend

I've been pulling this as espresso all week and it's remarkably forgiving — sweet and clean without any of the bitterness I usually get from lighter blends. The Colombian and Ethiopian combo really does work for both espresso and filter, which is rare.

Switched to brewing this in my pour-over and the Ethiopian side really comes through as a bright, jammy cup. It holds up just as well in the moka pot too, which surprised me. Genuinely one of the better blends I've had this year.

Been pulling this as espresso for about a week and the shots come out syrupy with a nice berry sweetness from the Ethiopian side. It's smooth enough to drink straight, no milk needed, which is rare for me. Genuinely one of the better blends I've had on the bar this year.
